Box Score The Firestorm faced two ranked opponents last week
The Women's Soccer team dropped two games on the road against two conference opponents both ranked in the NAIA Top 25 National Polls.
On Thursday the Firestorm faced off against #23 ranked Master's College. After the Mustangs scored at the 16:22 mark in the first half the game turned into a defensive game which found Master's finishing on top of ACU 1-0.
"(Our) women played well against a good Master's team," stated head coach Alan Berrios. "We executed our game plan, worked hard and stayed discipline. I was very pleased with the way we defended even though we dropped the game 0-1."
On Saturday the women squared up against #9 ranked Westmont College but fell 0-5.
The Firestorm (2-6, 0-4) take on San Diego Christian at home on Saturday, October 10th at 3:00 P.M.
