Costa Mesa, CA- Arizona Christian could not find their offensive rhythm at #7 Vanguard on Saturday as they fell 2-0.  Freshman Tahlia Miears recorded a career best 11 saves.

The first 19 minutes saw just two shots including one saved by Miears three minutes in as the teams tried to find their way. 

Unfortunately at the 19:27 mark, Vanguard turned their third shot of the game into a goal.  Three minutes later, the Lions (6-3, 2-0 GSAC) added their second goal.

Freshman Irene Ledezma hit a shot for the Firestorm (4-3-1, 0-1-1 GSAC) that needed to be saved.  Ledezma ended the game with two shots.

Freshman Veronica Cruz fired off the other ACU shot.

On Thursday, the Firestorm will host #4 Westmont at 5:00 pm at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex.
