The first half was filled with tons of action, with Menlo striking first to gain the early advantage. Elizabeth Mulanda would answer with a goal of her own. However, Menlo would strike again and take the lead. From then on it was a defense battle until the final buzzer. Unfortunately, Menlo's defense was too tough for the Firestorm women to break through, ultimately falling 1-2.
