SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - The ACU women's soccer program (2-9-0; 1-5-0 GSAC) was held scoreless by The Master's University (6-5-2; 3-3-1 GSAC) in a 2-0 conference loss Thursday afternoon on Reese Field.

Series Notes:

With the loss, the Firestorm move to 0-16-0 all-time against The Master's.

The Game: 

The ACU offense could not get going against a stingy TMU defense, totaling nine total shots with just three shots on-goal in the contest.  The Mustangs scored both of their goals within a five-minute window in the first half

• Adrianna Contreras: Two shots, one on-goal

• Irene Ledezma: Two shots

• Sabrina Rivera: 90 minutes in-goal, four saves, two goals allowed 

Thoughts from Coach: 

After the match, Head Coach Josh Macharia said, "On a windy day we played probably the best soccer game during my time here.  We were on the wrong side of the results but the girls played very well.  Our mistakes are still our undoing because we gave up two defendable goals.  We will keep learning from these kinds of games."
