Thoughts From Coach Carlisle
"Unfortunately, the story of the girls' season is that we just consistently got off to slow starts all year and that was the case again today. Â We lost at number one doubles for the first time against a GSAC foe and that was tough, but we came storming back at 2's and 3's and were genuinely close to getting that point. Â If we had done that maybe the result would have been different since Deondra won her match and
Vittoria Quadri and
Karla Grobbelaar were both leading. Â But that is college tennis and that is what makes this such a team sport. Â We made some great improvements this year as a team and had some great accomplishments. Â Our record may not look great at the end, but it definitely does not tell the whole story and I am so proud of the girls for all that they have done this year."
