Glendale, Ariz.- For the second time in his freshman campaign, Edgar Betancourt was named the PCSC Male Swimmer of the Week as announced this week by the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference.

In Saturday's meet against Grand Canyon and OUAZ, Betancourt lowered his school record time in 500 free to 4:50.39.  He added a swim of 1:46.78 in the 200 free.  Betancourt also swam in the medley relay.

For Betancourt, this is his second athlete of the week honor after being named the Male Freshman of the Week back in October.
