Phoenix, AZ.- Freshman Jackson Lee won the 200 Butterfly and in doing so set a new school record.  Multiple relay times also thrived as the Firestorm men have begun to hit their stride at the midway point of the 2024-25 regular season.
 
Lee also participated on two terrific relay teams joining senior Kaden Van der Lingen, freshman Isaiah Porritt, and sophomore CJ Trettel in both the 200 Medley Relay where they finished 3^rd place, and the 200 Freestyle Relay where they finished 5^th place.
 
Other notable individual performances came from Van der Lingen getting 4^th in the 100 Breaststroke, and 5^th in the 100 Butterfly.  Porritt also continued his stellar freshman campaign finishing two spots ahead of Van der Lingen in the 100 Breaststroke while also finishing 5^th in the 50 Freestyle.
 
Head Coach Brad Hering had this to say about the meet, "I am so proud of this team!  Some good swims including a school record and victory from Jackson.  Our relays looked good as well.  It was nice being able to get used to the pool we will swim in for the GSAC in January."

Next On the Schedule
The Firestorm Swim Teams will take a month off before returning on Saturday, December 7^th to Brophy High School for a meet hosted by Grand Canyon University.  Competition will begin at 11:00am.
