Glendale, Ariz.- On Monday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the NAIA Fall Sport Daktronics Scholar-Athletes sponsored by the Phoenix Police Department. Arizona Christian topped all GSAC schools with 51 total Scholar-Athletes during the fall season.
To earn Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, a student-athlete must have 3.5 cumulative GPA, appear on the eligibility certificate of their sport, and have attended their current school for one full year.
Arizona Christian was represented with scholar-athletes in all six fall sports- men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball. ACU football topped the group with 18 athletes recognized for their work in their classroom.
