Glendale, Ariz. - Misty McCall, Mia Scheepens, Haley Brown and Riley Brown were voted to the 2024 GSAC Beach Volleyball All-Conference Team per a release from the Golden State Athletic Conference earlier this afternoon. Four selections from Arizona Christian tied for the most in the GSAC (Vanguard also had four).

The season-long number one pair closed out the 2024 GSAC Beach Volleyball Tournament with a 12-13 record (6-7 in GSAC play). McCall, a Scottsdale native, was a part of the most conference wins (6) in a single season in her three-year career with the Firestorm (5-7 the past two years) and received an All-GSAC for the first time. Scheepens, hailing from Bellingham, Washington, also took home the honor for the first time, this her first season as a Sandy Bird. 

Notably, McCall/Scheepens defeated #1 OUAZ's number one pair on two occasions, including in the conference tournament. The duo was voted GSAC Pair of the Week after a 3-2 Senior Day victory over the Spirit and also upset NCAA Division I Missouri State's number one pair in the Arizona Invitational hosted by University of Arizona.

Haley Brown/Riley Brown

The steady number two pair from San Clemente, California posted a 13-14 record (8-5 in GSAC play) through the 2024 GSAC Beach Volleyball Tournament. Haley and Riley paired up for the first time at ACU, the sophomores sticking with different partners during their freshman campaign. The twins' eight conference wins is the most in a single season for both of them (Haley (6) and Riley (5) in 2023).

Of note, Brown/Brown got off to a scorching start in conference play, posting six wins in their first seven matches. Their signature victory was an epic three-set battle against #1 OUAZ's number two pair, which was critical in a 3-2 win on Senior Day.
