Women’s Soccer Goes To Oregon

Glendale, Ariz.- ACU Women's Soccer is headed to Oregon for two matches over the weekend.  The Firestorm will start their trip in Ashland to face Southern Oregon.  Early Saturday morning, ACU will go up against Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls.

The Firestorm opened their 2024 campaign with a 5-0 win over Goshen a week ago Monday.  Cami Mercado scored twice including the game winner.  Addi Cline, Shayla Mobo, and Isabelle Cruz all scored once.  Abbey Glover dealt out three assists- a match tying best for ACU.  Tayler Wonderly earned the shutout win.

With her two goals against the Maple Leafs, Mercado moved into second place on the ACU all-time scoring list.  She needs to score two more goals to take over the top scoring mark for Arizona Christian Women's Soccer.

Southern Oregon
The Raiders are 2-0 on the young season as they posted two clean sheets- a 1-0 win over Simpson (CA) and a 6-0 win over Pacific Union.  Seven different players have accounted for their seven goals. 

Oregon Tech
OIT started their year with a 1-1 tie against NCAA Division III George Fox.  Kiana Jacobson scored for the Owls.
