Ramirez and Porter Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Glendale, Ariz.- The 2026 CSC Academic All-District NAIA At-Large Teams were recently announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Both Jason Ramirez and Channing Porter represented the Arizona Christian Men's Wrestling program.

To be nominated by their College Sports Communicator (aka SID), a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and compete in 90 percent of their team's matches. A nomination by their CSC earns the student-athlete All-District honors. Select All-District finalists move up to the CSC Academic All-America ballot where a national committee determines the All-America Teams.

Ramirez, a Holbrook, AZ native, is a two-time NAIA national qualifier. He was a Cascade Conference champion at 133 lbs weight class this past season and was ranked number five in the country. Ramirez was also the Doane Open champion this past season and went undefeated at the 2026 National Duals.

Porter, from Sahuarita, AZ, led the team in wins for the second time in his career, making him an automatic qualifier for the NAIA national tournament for the 141 lbs weight class. Porter earned sixth place at the Cascade Conference championships, which included tough opponents like the national champion and three other All-Americans.
