Biography
2020 (JR)- Appeared in two meets (Season cut short due to COVID)… Ran a career best mile of 5:29.34 at Thunderbird Indoor Invitational
2019 (SO)- Helped the Firestorm finish second at the GSAC Championships… Appeared in six meets… Ran career bests of 10:40.14 in 3000m at RCC Invitational and 11:42.39 in 300m steeplechase…
2018 (FR)- Helped the Firestorm finish second at the GSAC Championships… Appeared in eight meets… Established career bests in 800m (2:23.50 at Team 4 Titus & Ely), 1500m (4:49.73 at Cody McBride Invitational), and 5000m (18:37.05 at Willie Williams Classic)
Also at ACU- Member of cross country team
Paloma Valley High School- Three year varsity runner for the Wildcats under coaches James Gray, Joe Ellet, Mike McGregor, and Ryan Sharp… Best 3-Mile time was 17:06… Awarded the Wildcat Award
Personal- Parents- Joe and Elizabeth Valadez… Sisters- Sidney and Danika… Plans on becoming a history teacher… Major is secondary education with an emphasis in history.
