Biography
2020 (JR)- Voted CoSIDA Academic All-American… Earned GSAC and NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors… Appeared in six meets (Season cut short due to COVID)… Advanced to NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships- ran 8.21 in 60m hurdles
2019 (SO)- Earned NAIA All-American honors… Named NAIA and GSAC Scholar-Athlete… Qualified for NAIA Outdoor Nationals in 110 and 400 meter hurdles and 4x400 relay team… Qualified for NAIA Indoor Nationals but did not make the trip
2018 (FR)- Ran in seven outdoor meets… Qualified NAIA Outdoor Nationals in the 110 and 400 meter hurdles and 4x100 relay team… Earned GSAC Champion honors with a season best run of 14.68 in 110 meter hurdles… Raced in four indoor meets… Advanced to NAIA Indoor Nationals in 60 meter hurdles…. Posted season best 8.30 in 60 meter hurdles at NAU Tuneup
2017 (RFR)- Participated in one indoor meet posting times of 7.79 in 60 meter and 8.76 60 meter hurdle races… Suffered injury- received medical redshirt
Rancho Buena Vista High School- Four year varsity athlete for Head Coach Will Stolpe… Helped the Longhorns win the Avocado West League… Ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay that were state finalists and took first at the Avocado West championships in 2016… Posted personal records of 14.79 in the 110m hurdles and 39.15 in the 300m hurdles… Two year varsity soccer and one year varsity cross country athlete… Earned Principal’s Award
Personal- Parents- Daric and Becky Kleppe… Brothers- Daric, Chris, Cody (ACU Alum), and Karl (ACU alum)… Sister- Mindy (ACU Alum)… Favorite Bible Verse- Joshua 1:9… Chose ACU because of family history with school and finances… Enjoys rock climbing, surfing, hiking, playing video games, and watching the sunset… Major is behavioral health.
