2021-22 (FR)- Raced in all eight meets for the Firestorm... Set individual records in the 50 Breaststroke (26.97), 50 Backstroke (24.64), 100 Backstroke (52.17), 200 Butterfly (2:10.51) and 200 IM (1:57.36) and four team records in the 200 Medley Relay (1:35.08), 400 Free Relay (3:12.14), 400 Medley Relay (3:30.15) and 800 Free Relay (7:04.39)

Woodhill College- Swam at Woodhill College in South Africa… Received the Victor Ludorum award for being the most successful swimmer all four years… Team Captain for final year… Favorite moment was qualifying for the South African Senior Nationals.

Personal- Parents- Buks and Alayne van der Lingen… Sister- Kristen… Favorite Bible verse in Joshua 1:9… Chose ACU because of the strong Christian base that the school is based upon as well as the great swim team of the school having the faith and values needed to motivate each other and grow with each other while still achieving a great education to set up for the future… Enjoys gaming… Plans to own his own business… Major is business administration.
