Biography
2024-25 (SO)- Competed in eight meets… Qualified for NAIA Nationals in the 100 Breaststroke and 400 Meter IM… All-GSAC in the 200 Meter Breaststroke.
High School- Homeschooled… Swam for Apache Junction High School (four years varsity)... Finished fourth in the 100 breast at state as a senior… Three time AJHS Team MVP… Two time captain… Favorite highlight- medaling in 100 breast… Also competed in track & field (two years varsity)
Personal- Parents- Paul and Christy Washburn… Brothers- Roy (ACU baseball alumni) and Jake… Sister- Lydia… Favorite Bible Verses- 2 Corinthians 4:16-18… Chose ACU because the school and swim team represent the Lord well… Plays violin and mandolin in a family bluegrass band… Enjoys country swing and line dancing… Wants to be a spokesperson for a political organization… Major is political science.
