Arizona Christian University

Dagny Knuston begins her first season as the Arizona Christian Women’s Assistant Swim Coach.  Coach Knutson is part of the coaching staff helping the ACU Women’s Swim Team get off the blocks in their first ever season.

Coach Knutson stated, “I am thrilled to be working with the new women’s program at Arizona Christian. Being a coach and spiritual mentor for these girls is a huge honor and I am excited to see them thrive in and out of the pool."

As a competitive swimmer for 12 years, Coach Knutson became a national high school record holder and a World Championship gold medalist.  Knutson competed at the 2008 Olympic Trials and later that year broke an American Record in the 400 individual medley.

Originally from Minot, ND- where the majority of her swimming career took place- she graduated from Minot High School in 2010.

In April 2016, she graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Minor in Entrepreneurial Studies.  She plans to earn her master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Government and Policy.

Knutson is an active volunteer and member at 29:11 church in Tempe, AZ.
