Biography
2018 (SO)- At the Mesa Indoor Invitational set a new school record in hammer (44’0.5”) and also set the hammer outdoor record (114’5”) at the Mesa Invite… Set the school record for discuss (127’9”) at the Cody McBride Invitational… Set a personal record in shot put (31’1.75”) at the Team 4 Titus & Ely meet… At the Bryan Clay Invite set a personal record in javelin (93’8”)
Prior to ACU- Attended Grand Canyon University for one year… Participated in all the throws for the Lopes… Her best marks were weight throw (38’8.25”), hammer (112’1.25”), javelin (85’0.5”), discus (127’11”), and shot put (32’7”)
Deer Valley High School- Four year varsity athlete for Head Coach Eric Bolus… Two time US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award winner… Named Deer Valley High School Track Skyhawk’s Athlete Award as a senior… Helped the Skyhawks win state in 2016- her favorite highlight… State placer in discus as a junior and senior… Also participated in volleyball and basketball
Personal- Parents- Bruce and Michelle Wick… Brother- Trevor… Favorite Bible Verse- Proverbs 3:5-6… Chose ACU because she liked the size of the school and immediately loved the coaches… Enjoys traveling and going to animal shelters to cuddle with dogs... Wants to work for a professional sports team or be a sports journalist… Major is communication.
