Brent Fahsholz enters his fifth year as assistant coach of men’s and women’s track and field at Arizona Christian University. Fahsholz began his tenure with ACU in Feb. 2019 and also serves as the head coach for the ACU Cross Country teams.

Fahsholz worked as the assistant cross country and distance coach at Corban University from January 2013 until moving to Arizona to lead the distance running Firestorm in February 2019.

Coach Fahsholz helped in all areas of distance running at Corban- including planning and running practices, motivating/counseling the athletes, recruiting, and fundraising. During his time as an assistant, Fahsholz helped the Warriors place 16th at the Women’s NAIA Cross Country Championships. Individual accomplishments under Coach Fahsholz included three All-Americans (800, steeplechase, and marathon), 20 national qualifiers, 14 All-Cascade athletes, and 20 All-Cascade Honorable Mention athletes in his six years at Corban.

Beyond the athletic successes, Coach Fahsholz stated he was most proud of Corban’s thought that success is about the whole person- athletic success starting from succeeding in the classroom and relationships all while maturing in Christ.

As an athlete himself, Fahsholz was a four year captain of the Corban men’s teams. He owns a top ten time in the Corban cross country records while earning All-Cascade Honorable Mention honors as a track and field athlete. In high school, he qualified for All-Conference recognition at Canby High School.

Academically, Coach Fahsholz graduated Cum Laude from Corban University in 2007 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies focusing on psychology and humanities. Fahsholz was named to the Dean’s List all four years.

Coach Fahsholz married his wife, Courtney, in June 2019.
