Arizona Christian University

The 2018 season was the first year that Coach Ed Carlon worked with the Arizona Christian hurdlers.  Under his watch the Firestorm have a national qualifier and a couple of All-GSAC performers plus broken all the ACU hurdles records.  Prior to ACU, Coach Carlon coached at the high school and club levels.  During those 15 years, he helped train Olympian Devon Allen and Trey Johnson (second fastest all-time hurdler in Arizona).

A graduate of Arizona State University, Carlon earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s in secondary education with an emphasis in English.  While at Phoenix College, he finished 13 in the country in the 400m hurdles.
