Prior to ACU- Played two seasons of football at Glendale Community College for Head Coaches Mickey Bell.

Cactus High School-  Three year varsity player for Head Coach Nathan Stevenson… Was 33-10 his senior year and a state qualifier… Given the Cobra Pride Award (Wrestler that best represents the school) and won most improved wrestler… Won in double overtime of the third round of the state championships after spraining his MCL during the match.
