Box Score

Phoenix, AZ- Even starting just 18 hours after the start of their previous match, #9 Arizona Christian had no trouble with Hope International on Saturday as they won 9-0.  The Firestorm gave up just nine games the entire day.

Opening in doubles, the Firestorm (7-0, 3-0 GSAC) dominated with two 8-1 wins and an 8-0 sweep.

In singles play, ACU appeared to become even more dominant.  On courts three through six, Freshman Tia Okano, Senior Iulia Marcenco, Junior Desiree Curiel, and Junior Lauryn Sullins did not lose a single game winning 6-0 across the board.

On court two, Sophomore Mikayla Morgan won 6-2 in the first set before delivering a 6-0 win in the second set.

Court one was the "closest" match as Senior Desiree Jackson won the first set 6-3 over HIU's Sabrina Miller.  Jackson controlled the second set even more with a 6-2 win.

On Thursday, the women will head to California for matches on three straight days beginning with NCAA DIII La Verne.  First serve is planned for 3:00 pm (AT)/ 2:00 pm (PT).
