Phoenix, AZ- On Tuesday, Arizona Christian could not find the right combination to secure a lead or even a tie against #3 Westmont as the Warriors went wire-to-wire in their 64-55 win over the Firestorm.  Sophomore Courtney Christmas delivered a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Freshman Toni Davis also went for 17 points.

The Warriors (13-1, 3-0 GSAC) scored the first four points before Christmas made a pair of free throws and Senior Courtney Leach converted one of two free throws to bring ACU within one at 4-3.  That turned out to be as close as Arizona Christian would get to Westmont.

At the break, ACU found themselves down 38-28.  Eight points (Christmas and Davis) was the high for the Firestorm (7-6, 1-1 GSAC).

Falling behind by as many as 20 at 50-30 with just under four minutes left in the third quarter, ACU attempted to fight back and brought their deficit back to single digits when Davis knocked down an and one to get within seven.

But the Warriors turned away any comeback bids from there.

On Saturday, the Firestorm will host San Diego Christian at 2:00 pm.
