Box Score Phoenix, AZ- On Saturday, Arizona Christian turned 38 points off turnovers into a 96-57 rout of Warner Pacific. Four scored in double figures topped by Junior Courtney Christmas dropping in 27 points. Junior Makayla Enders doubled up with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Enders started the scoring with a free throw. Sophomore Toni Davis added two free throws. Christmas converted a layup and the Firestorm (3-1) were literally off and running.
After building a double digit lead, ACU held a 19-11 lead over the Knights (0-4) at the end of the first quarter.
But the Firestorm dominated the second quarter to the tune of 28-5 building as large as a 31 point lead.
Twenty of the 47 points scored by Arizona Christian in the first 20 minutes came off turnovers. Enders was the only player in double figures with 11 points. She also recorded seven first half rebounds.
Quarter three saw the Firestorm tack on another 28 points.
When the final whistle sounded, Davis ended up with 16 points. Junior Jada Willingham scored 10 points. Freshman Sierra Stephan added eight points.
The Firestorm will take ten days before returning the competitive court when they host Ottawa (AZ) on Tuesday, November 21, at 7:00 pm.
