Indian Wells, CA- Playing in their second GSAC Championship in as many years, Arizona Christian Women's Tennis was turned away 5-0 by top seed San Diego Christian at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Thursday.

Doubles finished in reverse order of court number as the Hawks (14-3) won 8-3 on court three, 8-4 on court two against Junior Autria Compton and Freshman Melanie Dreux, and 8-2 on the first doubles court.

In singles action, SDCC kept ACU off balance and only dropped one set in the six matches. 

Court one went in favor of San Diego Christian 6-1 and 6-1 while the third court win of 6-4 and 6-4 gave the Hawks the win.

Senior Lauryn Sullins won her first set on court six 6-2 but was trailing 4-1 in the second set and went in the books as one of the four unfinished matches when the team match ended.

The Firestorm hope that their 17-8 record and number 14 ranking in the NAIA will punch their ticket to the NAIA National Championships in Mobile, AL, on May 16-20.
