Big Second Half Sends ACU WBB Past OUAZ

Phoenix, AZ– After scoring 36 points in the first half, ACU scored 57 points in the second half to knock off crosstown rival OUAZ 93-82.  Senior Courtney Christmas went for 34 points.

"Today was exactly what I thought it would be, a backyard brawl.  OUAZ is as scrappy and as tough a team as we will play all season.  They continued to fight for that game all the way to the end.  That's exactly the way we knew it would be and that required us to play for 40 minutes."

 

"We did a nice job staying focused and playing together. It's always great to get a GSAC win, especially on the road."
