The Arizona Christian Women's Tennis team dropped an exhibition match to Santa Clara University earlier in the day of Friday before defeating Hope International 9-0 to remain undefeated and serve up GSAC play.

The Firestorm (3-0, 1-0 GSAC) began the match against the Royals (0-4, 0-2 GSAC) in dominating fashion sweeping doubles action. After no play took place in the number three doubles spot, Sophomore Jayci Kelley and Freshman Janae Watt won 8-5 in the number one doubles spot.  In number two doubles action, Sophomore Sarah Drella and Freshman Rachel Anklam won 9-7.

Heading into singles action with no players in the number five and number six spot for the Royals, ACU claimed the victories.  Arizona Christian secured victories in the number three spot and number four spot in the lineup.  Freshman Emma Schweinsberg won 6-2 and 6-4 in singles action in the number four spot.  In the number three spot, Anklam took the victory.

The Firestorm return to action on Saturday hosting Ottawa (AZ).  The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm at the Phoenix Tennis Club.
