San Diego, CA- A sudden change of plans due to rain saw Arizona Christian face off with NCAA DII Point Loma Nazarene instead of NCAA DII Biola on Wednesday evening.  Playing to clinch, the Sea Lions (No. 11 in NCAA DII) blanked the NAIA's No. 18 Firestorm 5-0.

Beginning with doubles, Senior Autria Compton and Junior Maria Garduno put up a fight on doubles one before coming up just short 8-6.  The Sea Lions (12-3) won the other two doubles matches to grab a 3-0 lead.

Moving on to singles, courts one and five played to completion going in favor of PLNU for the overall match win.  The other four matches went in the book as unfinished.

The Firestorm (9-7) will return to action on Saturday against No. 12 San Diego Christian.  The match is scheduled to begin at the Lake Murray Tennis Center at 12:00 pm.
