San Diego, CA- No. 18 ACU Women's Tennis dropped a conference match 6-3 to No. 12 San Diego Christian on the road at the Lake Murray Tennis Club on Saturday.

In doubles action, Junior Maria Garduno and Freshman Sydney Smyth earned the lone Arizona Christian win in the number three doubles spot as they held on for the 8-5 victory.

On the singles courts, Sophomore Elizabeth Kelley and Smyth earned victories.  Kelley won in the number four singles match after her SDCC opponent was force to retire.  Smyth collected a 6-3, 6-2 win on court five.

The Firestorm (9-8, 1-3 GSAC) are scheduled to return to action on April 6 in a GSAC match at Hope International.  The HIU match will be played at the Fullerton Tennis Center at 10:00 am.
