Glendale, AZ- Scoring on their first offensive play from scrimmage set the table for ACU offensively on Saturday as the Firestorm earned the 34-14 win over Oklahoma Panhandle.  Freshman Tyler Duncan paced the offense while the defense allowed OPSU to convert just two of eleven third down attempts.

Duncan topped everyone with 98 yards rushing and 164 passing yards.  Junior Jon Cole converted his 114 yards receiving into two touchdowns.

Defensively, Senior Tyler Hunt recorded eight tackles and a sack.  Sophomore Alex Morgan and Senior Misael Angel both accounted for an interception.

"We are very pleased with our full team effort tonight.  All three phases of the game played well.  The offense struck quick in the first quarter with 17 points to get things going and the defense played well all night.  Special teams were solid once again.  It was probably our most complete game of the year.  It could not come at a better time, we have a big one next week!"
