Phoenix, AZ-  The Firestorm fought hard in a chippy game against GSAC rival Vanguard that ultimately took two overtimes to decide. Vanguard was able to get the final goal in the final two minutes of the second overtime to take the match.

In a match that featured a lot of defense and a lot of passion, the Firestorm brought the intensity, fighting for their potential playoff lives. Vanguard had held the lead for most of the game, until Austin Coutinho answered with a goal in the final two minutes of the match. The game would end up going into double overtime, where the Lions took advantage of their opportunity to score and ultimately ended the game.
