ACU started the game fast against the Hawks in a battle against the GSAC rivals. Lukas Macho and Jurgen Renteria teamed up for the first couple goals of the contest. The Hawks took exception to all the scoring the Firestorm was doing and decided to play more physical resulting in multiple penalties and yellow card. In the end, the Firestorm came out with the victory. 

COACH BELLMAN'S THOUGHTS

Today was a bit of an ugly one, but we had some quality moments and had a couple of nice finishes. Overall a great first week in the conference for us and we will look to improve with a good week of training before we play Ottawa.

The Firestorm will face off against rival OUAZ next Saturday.
