Thoughts from Coach Rutter

"Tonight was a great team effort.  Our starters really played hard and did a nice job defending them to start the game.  Really set the tone defensively.  De'Ron got going and extended the lead.  He's just played a few games and I knew at some point he'd get comfortable and he played really well tonight."

"Hope came out in the second half and was the more aggressive team.  We stalled a little on offense and they started asserting themselves on the offensive glass.  KeyVaughn Williams, De'Ron, Terence and Al came in and lifted our intensity and got the stops we needed."

We had some big time hustle plays with just a couple minutes left that held them off and probably won the game for us.  Xander, Al, O'Shae Williams, and De'Ron all had big rebounds and steals that led to baskets.  Eric Klekas had a big three at the top that sealed it.  Great effort against a very good team."
