Thoughts from Coach Rutter

"When you jump out to a lead early, it is easy to get complacent and not play as hard.  I thought we maintained a very good effort defensively and our shot selection was good the entire game.  That is not something we did a month ago.  This team has really matured and stay focused these past few weeks.  They know OUAZ is good and has some guys that can score in a hurry, but we maintained our focus and executed the game plan."

"This is a very deep team.  We have a lot of guys good enough to play big minutes for us.  It has required some sacrifice and accepting of roles and I think we are starting to really buy into that.  A great example is Terence as he is a returning all-conference player that joined us late.  I know it is not easy, but his acceptance of a role has been such a great example to others.  When someone as accomplished as Terence can accept a role, it is hard for others not to as well.  It is becoming a very tough, smart, unselfish team."
