- The Redhawks came back and kept the score in single digits most of the half
- But a pair of free throws from Darius Goudeau with 16 seconds left in the first half secured a double digit edge the rest of the night
- ACU outrebounded BENU 48-36 which includes 18 offensive rebounds.

"It was not a great offensive night for us. We settled for some tough shots early on and several turnovers in transition that seemed to keep stealing our momentum. We did a better job in the second half of taking care of the ball. We had a lot of open shots and just were not hitting but did a better job on the offensive glass and created some offense that way. AJ and Bryce had some nice moments but were limited with foul trouble. Pat and Robby both had great second halves for us to carry the scoring load."
