Box Score Glendale, Ariz.- In a matchup of top 15 NAIA teams, Arizona Christian beat The Master's thanks to 35 free throw attempts and forcing 23 turnovers. In balanced attack fashion, five Firestorm scored between nine and 13 points.

- Four minutes into the game only three points had been scored by TMU
- Wilson knocked down a three to give ACU their first lead at 7-6
- With 10:41 left in the first half the game was tied at 12-12
- ACU would only let TMU score eight points the rest of the half
- Marcus Green scored to start an 8-0 run and give the Firestorm a lead they would not surrender
- The Firestorm built their largest lead of 21 points a few minutes into the final half
- Twelve points was as close as the game would get
- After attempting just nine first half free throws, ACU went to the line 26 times in the last 20 minutes
- 35 free throw attempts were a season high for ACU
- Both teams made 19 field goals while TMU held a 9-5 lead behind the three point line

"We looked a lot more like ourselves today. Was not pretty, but a good team win with good contributions from all that played. I think we were a little worn out from a couple weeks of travel, a few injuries, and really didn't get to practice a whole lot the two weeks prior to Westmont. I think we slipped fundamentally as a result. We were a little better today... Better defensively and better shot selection."
