The Firestorm woke up ready to play today and did not waste any time jumping out to a 2-0 lead just 22 minutes into the game.  In the first half of play ACU outshot William Jessup 10-1.  The first goal came from the foot of Kaden Grub off of a free kick, something he's familiar with given that he's had several goals from set pieces this season.  That shot put ACU up 1-0 in the 9th minute.  Just over ten minutes later ACU was on the attack again, with Soares' shot bouncing off a Jessup defender right to the feet of Alves who tacked on the insurance goal.  Gallardo stayed true to form and didn't let up as he went on to secure his 5th shutout of the season.  Firestorm win 2-0.   

Next Match:

Both soccer teams will make their way home to play host one last time in regular season play when they take on the visiting OUAZ Spirit on Friday, October 28th.  Both games will be played at ACU Football Field, men's kickoff at 8 PM.
