Box Score Glendale, Ariz.- After trailing by two at the half, No. 1 Arizona Christian dialed up their defensive effort in the second half and cruised past Oklahoma City to conclude the ACU Fultz Classic on Saturday. Dominic Gonzalez came off the bench to lead all scorers with 23 points.

- Gonzalez delivered 14 of his 23 points in the first half
- The first four and a half minutes of the second act was like the first- back and forth
- But Gonzalez gave the Firestorm a 49-47 edge with 15 minutes to play
- Twenty-four points was the largest lead for ACU
- After allowing the Stars to shoot 55.2% in first half, the Firestorm clamped down to force the Stars into 25% second half shooting

"It was a great weekend of basketball with four very good teams. The Fultz Memorial Classic is always special. We get to highlight the impact that Tim Fultz made both as a student at ACU/Southwestern and globally as a missionary. Such a great family. Makes me miss our good friend Paul Westphal as well. He always enjoyed this tournament and loved the Fultz family."
