Coach Butterfield's Thoughts
"Today we wrestled in some tough duals with both Vanguard and Menlo in the chapel at vanguard university. We are thankful for some high level matches while some of our guys are getting down to lower weights in the coming weeks. Adversity is a huge part of our sport and today we made several strides forward against quality competition and competed better against some opponents that we have already previously seen this season. We will continue to strive to get better as a result of this weekend. Terrell Kinlicheenie had a solid major decision win vs vanguard and continues to compete at high levels throughout this season."
Next on the schedule:
Conference competitions continue for the Firestorm as they head to La Grande, Oregon next weekend to duel against Cascade Conference opponents Eastern Oregon University and Warner Pacific University.
Roll Storm!
