  • A back-and-forth second set found the Firestorm at set point of 24-21
  • Unfortunately, the Cougars produced the next five points for the win
  • The first four points of the third set resulted in a 2-2 tie
  • USF broke the tie and lead until the final whistle

"Some highs and lows on the day but lots of lessons learned.  Overall, what I am most proud of is our ability now to remember our identity throughout a match and continue to battle even when it's not going our way.  Lots of growth ahead of us as we continue to pursue excellence in all things." 

 

Up Next

Beginning on Friday, Arizona Christian will host the Labor Day Festival (seven matches in three days) in the Firestorm Recreation Center.  They will open the action by facing in state rival Park-Gilbert at 2:00 pm on Friday.
