The tone was set for the rest of the set as the teams combined for 14 ties and seven lead changes
Down 22-21, ACU used a block from Schroeder and Kaeleigh Gibson and a kill from Henige to move in front 23-22
But the Mustangs won the last three points and the set
Set two was a near repeat of set one as the teams exchanged 13 ties and six lead changes
A Gibson kill pushed ACU ahead 21-20
After falling behind, Henige tied the score at 23-23 before two TMU kills ended the set
In the third set, a block by Shockey and Emma Hogan gave ACU a 4-3 edge
The lead remained with the Firestorm until the Mustangs forced 17-17 and 18-18 ties
Following a service error by TMU, Emma Combes served tough including two aces to create the separation needed for the ACU win
After the first three sets, Arizona Christian was hitting .248 and The Master's was hitting .243 in their tight match
Unfortunately, ACU only forced a 2-2 tie in the fourth set before TMU topped until the final whistle

"Another tough match for us not finishing as hoped for. We just could not find a great response to the offensive pressure of their outside hitters. We had some great performances by our middles that helped open up the opportunities for our pins but the effort fell short of what was needed to earn the win."
