Arce’s Clutch Goal Ushers GSAC POTW Honor

Glendale, Ariz.- Marlon Arce collected his second GSAC Player of the Week award following an electric 2-1 triumph over The Master's this past Saturday. With 29 seconds left in the match, Arce delivered the game-winner thanks to a through-ball from Santiago Ballesteros.

Arce's full body of work this past week yielded one goal, six shots and two shots on goal. In Thursday's match against Vanguard, he was a bit quieter, only getting off two shots in a 2-2 tie where Cornelis Miller scored both goals for the Firestorm. Through the 2023 regular season, Arce has eight goals, one assist and 17 points to his name, putting him in a tie for fifth place in the GSAC.

Looking ahead, ACU Men's Soccer grabbed the sixth and final seed in the upcoming GSAC Men's Soccer Tournament with their latest win. The Firestorm will travel to Hope International for a 1:00 PM quarterfinal match on November 4th.
