Heinz, Campbell go low at Antelope Hills

Prescott, Ariz.- The Firestorm teed it up for the second time this fall at the ERAU Co-Ed Invitational and finished tied for second out of four teams. Junior Ryan Heinz jumped four players to tie for second after posting a 3-under-par 69 in the final round. Fellow junior Matt Campbell closed with an impressive 68 (-4) to salvage a share of fourth, while freshman Gaige Pilot managed 71-75 (+3) to tie for eighth.

Ryan Heinz was 2 under on par 3s for the tournament. He recorded the most total pars (23) for the Firestorm over 36 holes.
Matt Campbell tied Thomas Herholtz for most birdies (10). He was 4 under on the par 5s in round two, having a birdie on each hole.
Gaige Pilot registered the only eagle of the tournament for the Firestorm on the par-5 5th hole during round one. His 6-under performance on the par 5s led the team for the week.
Thomas Herholtz rattled off seven par-breakers in the first round, including four straight birdies on holes 14-17, on his way to a 1-under 71.
ACU had 39 total birdies in two rounds of play.
