ACU Sweeps With Double Tens

Encinitas, Calif.- Arizona Christian produced ten runs in both games of their sweep of Saint Katherine on Saturday.  Neeley Bell homered in her third straight doubleheader.  Savannah Smith and Trinity Lawson both went the distance for a win in the circle.

  • Taylor Schleisman singled, Hipolito doubled her home, and Reese singled home Hipolito in the third
  • The Firestorm concluded their scoring with two runs in the top of the fifth
  • Lawson retired the Firebirds 1-2-3 in the fifth including the last two by strikeout to allow the mercy rule to kick in
