• It was a tight game to start with there being eight lead changes until 9:19 minutes left in the half
• At this time ACU was leading 20 - 19 after a Hudgens layup  
• The Firestorm end the half on a 15-5 run showing a spurt of brilliance and huge three pointer by Flowers at the buzzer
• Securing the biggest lead of the half, ACU led  42-28
• Berry led all with 11 points at the half
• ACU picks up where they left off with 3 steals and a 13-0 run to start the second half
• Firestorm would lead  by 27
• Life cut the deficit to 17 forcing ACU to call a timeout with 12:26 minutes to go in the half
• ACU would continue to dominate and increase their lead to as much as 30 points until the end of the game
• For the game, the Firestorm converted 11 of 16 free throw attempts and shot 48.6% from the field and accumulated 21 assists as a team

"I thought we played a real unselfish game today.  We are at our best when we are looking for each other and we did a very good job of that today. "
 
"Life Pacific has a lot of guys that can shoot the ball and they are always hard to guard.  We opened the second half setting tone defensively and it opened up the game a little. 
 
"It takes some time to get clicking on offense when you add players to the mix and the rotation changes.  Focusing on making easy plays and focusing on playing for each other is a great way to speed that process up.  We took a big step in that direction today."
