Inside the Box Score
The ACU pitching staff got in more than enough work today, with 7 different pitchers making an appearance in today's game, compared to the 5 arms it took to get through both games yesterday. The staff recorded eleven strikeouts backed by Hohensee and Pinedo who combined for seven on the day. Riley Quinton continues to perform in high pressure situations, notching his third save of the season. On the offensive side it was a hit parade for the Firestorm, with all but two starting hitters recording a hit. Five different ACU hitters ended the day with multiple hits, including Justin Ramirez who led the way with three, making a sizeable dent in the all-time hits leaderboard. Porchas' two RBI triple in the 10th would stand as the deciding play in tonight's game and thus the series as a whole. ACU Baseball secures their second GSAC series win of the year.
Next for the Firestorm
