ACU Splits With Jessup To Stop Slide

Glendale, Ariz.- After being unable to find success in the first three games of the weekend, Arizona Christian earned a game two win to split with Jessup on Saturday.  Savannah Smith was dialed in for the second day in a row.

  • Jessup plated two runs in the fourth before Smith came on in relief
  • With two out is the fifth, Taylor Schleisman singled, Claire Buckley walked, and Hipolito singled to load the bases
  • Bell cashed in Schleisman and Buckley with a single down the left field line to retake a three run lead
  • Jessup had the bases loaded in the sixth and runner on in the seventh but Smith closed the door for win number 15 on the season
