Baseball opened the game on a high note, scratching out a run before the Mustangs even had an opportunity to bat. Elliott took advantage of the situation, and pitching with the lead, recorded two clean innings with three punch outs. The first blemish came via a solo homerun from TMU in the third. Elliott would only give up one more run before handing it over to the bullpen. On the offensive side, Titialii and Durazo would provide the only RBIs for the Firestorm on the day, with Durazo's coming via his 9th homerun of the year. The game was ultimately decided by a 4-run 7th inning for the Mustangs, and the Firestorm will now have to win out in order to take the GSAC Championship.
