In the opening round, Max Mylett made a hole-in-one on the par three 14th hole to push his score to -3 for the round. After two rounds the cut line was set at (+5) allowing the top 17 teams and top 40 individuals to play the final two rounds. Due to scorching sun and pace of play issues, both Acikalin and Mylett were not inside the cut line at the end of round two and therefore will not be permitted to play the remainder of the tournament.
