Glendale, Ariz.- Arizona Christian Women's Volleyball has set their 2023 schedule according to Head Coach
Micah Briscoe. Invitationals and GSAC play will make up most of the new schedule.
Right out of the gate, the Firestorm will head to Butte, Mont., for an invitational hosted by Montana Tech beginning on August 17. ACU will face a big challenge to start the season as they face Eastern Oregon University and College of Saint Mary- ranked number one and fifteen in the 2022 NAIA post season poll.
The next weekend Arizona Christian will compete much closer to home as they head to Surprise to participate in the OUAZ Invitational. One match on Thursday, two on Friday, and another one on Saturday will be the format for ACU about 13 miles from home.
Arizona Christian will play on their home court in the Firestorm Recreation Center for the first time in 2023 on Labor Day weekend as they host the Firestorm Labor Day Invitational. ACU will serve it up against their local competitors in four of the seven matches over the two-day span.
Following their run through the invitationals, the Firestorm will jump right into the GSAC portion of their schedule as they head to Menlo College on Friday, September 8. The first home GSAC match will feature Life Pacific University on September 15.
On October 3, West Coast Baptist College will come to Glendale to renew a rivalry that has not seen action since 2012.
The final home match of the season will see Vanguard University visit the FRC for Senior Day on October 28.
