Here Comes The Frontier

Griffin Meier and the Firestorm are ready for the Frontier
Glendale, Ariz.- With their two non-conference games behind them, Saturday will see Arizona Christian officially jump into Frontier Conference action for the first time.  The Firestorm, in their tenth year as a program, will face their toughest conference challenge to date.

Series
The only previous meeting between the teams back in August 2019 resulted in a 20-14 win for the Lights.  That game, contested just down the street at Cactus High School, was the first game played by the Firestorm after the campus relocation in 2019.

ACU Coming Into Game
On Saturday, Arizona Christian (receiving votes in the NAIA) beat NCAA Division II Fort Lewis 49-25.  The Firestorm produced 611 total yards (fifth most in program history) with 328 yards coming on the ground (third most in the ACU archives).

ACU By The Numbers
After their 49 point outburst, the Firestorm moved up to 28 points per game.  ACU has compiled 46 combined first downs in the first two games.
